Average Star Rating

The Star Rating block displays the average score and total review count directly beside your product title.

Review Summary and Rating Breakdown

Shows the overall average alongside a visual bar breakdown of how many reviews fall into each star category.

Verified Buyer Badge

Applies a badge to reviews from customers who completed a live-mode purchase of that specific product.

Review List & Submission Form

Product Review List block handles the full review section: reviews list, pagination, call-to-action, and the submission form itself.

How it Works

The Automated Review Collection Flow

Once enabled, SureCart handles the entire review lifecycle — from requesting feedback to moderating submissions to displaying approved reviews on your product pages.

Order Fulfilled

The customer’s order is marked as fulfilled in SureCart. This is the trigger event for the review request sequence.

Review Request Sent

After a configurable delay, SureCart sends a branded email with a direct link back to the product page.

Submits Review

The customer rates their experience, and leaves a written comment. If eligible, the Verified Buyer badge is applied automatically.

Merchant Moderates

You receive a notification and can approve, edit, or reject the reviews. Or set reviews to auto-approve.

Review Goes Live

Approved review appears on the product page with the star rating, buyer badge, and comment — visible to all future visitors.

Do I need another plugin to use Product Reviews?

No. Product Reviews is built into SureCart. You enable it from Settings → Reviews — no separate plugin, no extra license.

Will this slow down my WordPress site?

SureCart is designed to be lightweight, and Product Reviews follows the same approach. There are no additional front-end scripts or separate database tables to manage.

Can I moderate reviews before they go live?

Yes. You can approve, edit, or reject reviews from SureCart → Products → Reviews. You can also set reviews to auto-approve if you prefer a hands-off workflow.

Does it work with all product types?

Yes. You can collect reviews for digital downloads, courses, memberships, physical products, and services sold through SureCart.

Can I customize how reviews look on my page?

SureCart provides flexible layout blocks for Gutenberg, Elementor, and Bricks Builder. You can also use review shortcodes to display reviews on any page builder. Place the reviews section wherever it makes the most sense for your template design.

Is this feature available on the free plan?

Yes. Product Reviews is included on all SureCart plans, including the free tier.
